Annoyed (KMR)

I have no idea why, but I noticed that I have absolutely no patience for paperwork. Why in the world do I not remember all this from when I applied at Tunxis Comm College? I'm trying to get into Husson - at least fill out the application - and I think it is the most annoying thing in the world.

This is one of these few times when words cannot show how I am feeling at the moment, but it is pretty bad when I even consider not going to college because of it.

No... I'll find a way. In the end, I really want to get out of the life I'm living right now. And there is only one way... going back to school.

Essay Issue (by KMR)

Besides my personal obsession with people in uniforms (shiny!), I joined the National Guard because I knew it would give me chances I would not get. I could pay bills that had hung over my head for a while and I knew I could use the GI Bill to go to school and get my BA.

That is all good and great... until I stumbled along the task that one needs to submit an essay with the college application. Themes they want are the typical "Goals for the Future" or, a topic I care about/am interested in. Simple enough, right?

Not. I've been making this once again harder than I should... I have no idea what to write about. I mean, I have my goals and wants, but they are impossible to write an essay about. How in the world to you write a couple pages on "I want to be a successful author" - can't really go to school for that. So why am I going to school? Because it it pretty much for free? No. I love school, always have...

I don't know. All I am aware about is that I am running out of time if I want to start in the spring...
