Not in any particular order after #5... These are my favorite matches. I am not objectively rating the "best ever" matches--these are just the one's that personally entertained me, thus one of the main elements has to be unpredictability, emotion, who wins, and story/superstar interest. Those are the nuances and the reason you won't see a match on here like Hitman/Bulldog or Hitman/Owen--definitely two of the top SummerSlam matches of all time, but (in the case of the former) my guy lost AND I wasn't any kind of major supporter if Bulldog's; in the case of the latter, there was no way I thought Owen would beat Bret twice in one year on a major stage. I recognize the significance of those matches in wrestling history (and I like the matches very much), but they don't do anything for me personally.
These are my inspirations...
1. WWE Title Match: Kurt Angle VS Stone Cold Steve Austin (2001)
2. Tag Team Title Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: Dudleys VS Edge & Christian VS Hardys (2000)
3. WWE Title Match (with HBK as guest referee): Bret 'Hitman' Hart VS Undertaker (1997)
4. World Title Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: CM Punk VS Jeff Hardy (2009)
5. WWE Title Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin VS Undertaker (1998)
6. Intercontinental Title Ladder Match: The Rock VS Triple H (1998)
7. The Brain Busters VS The Hart Foundation (1989)

9. Intercontinental Title Match: Bret 'Hitman' Hart VS Mr. Perfect (1991)
10. WWE Title Match: Randy 'Macho Man' Savage VS Ultimate Warrior (1992)
